At Studio Officina, we often get asked for advice on how to renovate a bathroom or kitchen on the cheap without sacrificing efficient planning or aesthetics.
We recognize how helpful it can be to get some simple and affordable advice from an architect who can guide you in navigating a bathroom or kitchen renovation without breaking the bank, and with no pressure to sign on with a design professional for a full renovation project.
During a 2-hour one-on-one workshop session together, we can help you:
• review and layout your bathroom or kitchen to get the most out of the available space and to potentially avoid having to move plumbing;
• understand how to strategically use affordable kitchen cabinet systems such as IKEA or Home Depot to create a kitchen that looks well-designed and streamlined;
• select and source good-quality and beautiful materials and fixtures from affordable suppliers;
• elevate the overall “look and feel” of the kitchen or bathroom through use of hardware, light fixtures and accessories; figure out how to find and choose a reliable contractor or tradespeople to help make your design a reality.
Essentially, we offer a workshop-style meeting and one-time commitment where we will sit together and review your project, to give you the confidence and direction to implement an affordable but well-designed renovation.
